Itinerary

  • Munich, the capital city of the Free State of Bavaria, is one of the major cities in Germany. Munich offers many attractions depending on your tastes, whether it is Oktoberfest, beer and pork knuckle, BMW Museum, Soccer stadium Allianz Arena of FC Bayern, or history and culture with the Palaces and Museums, we tailor the day to your interests.

  • The old town area around Marienplatz is delightful for a walk, drink or a meal. There are many famous beer halls such as the Hofbrauhaus, Franziskaner, Augustiner and many more good ones. For beer lovers there is plenty of choice and the ambience is impressive, the Bavarian culture distinctive. Most renowned is the Oktoberfest. Other points of interest may include the Residence Museum, the Nymphenburg Palace, the Technical Museum, the Bavarian Film Studios, the Allianz Soccer Stadium and BMW World. There is also the Olympic park and English gardens. For those who interested in visiting the Nymphenburg Palace, the palace tour is possible, but the highlight is the gardens.

For those with an interest in BMW, there is the Exhibition, the Museum and the Factory Tour. The factory tour requires booking far in advance.

For those with an interest in Soccer, the Allianz Arena, or FC Bayern visits are possible on non-match days. For Souvenirs there are amazing shops, one for the stadium and one for the Soccer Club, the stadium tour also needs to be booked in advance.

  • On the classic way we will then return to Salzburg. On request it can be customized with the tour ends at your choice of location in Munich City or Munich Airport.
On request it would be possible visit to King Ludwig’s palace at Chiemsee. These arrangments can be discussed with your tour guide with respect to adjusting the rest of the tour.
