The old town area around Marienplatz is delightful for a walk, drink or a meal. There are many famous beer halls such as the Hofbrauhaus, Franziskaner, Augustiner and many more good ones. For beer lovers there is plenty of choice and the ambience is impressive, the Bavarian culture distinctive. Most renowned is the Oktoberfest. Other points of interest may include the Residence Museum, the Nymphenburg Palace, the Technical Museum, the Bavarian Film Studios, the Allianz Soccer Stadium and BMW World. There is also the Olympic park and English gardens. For those who interested in visiting the Nymphenburg Palace, the palace tour is possible, but the highlight is the gardens.

For those with an interest in Soccer, the Allianz Arena, or FC Bayern visits are possible on non-match days. For Souvenirs there are amazing shops, one for the stadium and one for the Soccer Club, the stadium tour also needs to be booked in advance.
