Krimml Water Falls + Zell am See Amazing Day Trip From Salzburg

These impressive waterfalls dropping 380m in three steps are in the southwest corner of Salzburg state, the region known as Pinzgau, near the source of the Salzach, Salzburg’s river, Only 10 to 15 minutes walk are necessary to get from the parking lot to the lowest waterfall (accessible also for the disabled). In the cliffs above the castle are the famous Werfen Ice Caves. Still following the Salzach we come back into Salzburg City.
