This is a wonderful combination Bratislava tour with both sightseeing and shopping, it could be the happiest day of your holidays! Bratislava is the Slovakian capital with a spectacular castle and a small attractive old town on the banks of the Blue Danube river and on our return trip a stop at McArthur Glen Designer Outlets at Parndorf. It is also possible to make a short visit to the lake “Neusiedlersee”, is the largest in Austria.
We first take you directly to Bratislava and visit the Bratislava Castle which is located on a hill overlooking the entire city, from there you can have the best view of the city. There after we drive down to the old town area for a lunch break, your guide will recommend you one of the good local restaurants. After lunch some leisure time to stroll in the city centre.
The highlights of Bratislava to explore the 14th century St. Michael’s Tower in the pedestrian area, following popular attractions are also nearby Man at Work- Cumil, Slovakian Parliament, Bratislava city museum is the oldest museum in Slovakia. Depend on your interests we can take a look at the Grassalkovich Palace, a Rococo summer palace from the 18th century building now it serves as the seat of the president of the Slovakian Republic. It is located just in front of the Presidential Garden, a 10 minutes walking distance from the St. Michael’s tower.
On our return trip, what some guests consider to be the most exciting place and happiest part of the tour is visiting the McArthur Glen Designer Outlets at Parndorf. Here you will find manyl top brands with over 160 stores at discounted rates between 30% up to 70% and it is a perfect paradise for shoppers, Ideal for a little retail therapy. We could spend at least 2 hours here for shopping. After Parndorf on our way back to Vienna, depending on the timing we could make a short visit to the lake “Neusiedlersee”, the largest in Austria. For guests less interested in shopping we can take more time at the lake.
