Itinerary

From the CENTRE to the INNER and OUTER CIRCLE
INNER CIRCLE: Mirabell Palace and Gardens, St Andrews Church, Church of the Holy Trinity, Christ Lutheran Church, Mozarteum, Salzburg State Theater, Mozart Residence, Marionette-Theater
OUTER CIRCLE: Then we head out of town to the north and uphill to a special view point from
Maria Plain the Basilica, the views, the Pilgrim trail of St James and the Mozart connection
Then we are beginning to curl around the city to cover:
Klessheim Palace – Red Bull Arena – UEFA Champions League Soccer Stadium, Hangar 7 – Stiegl’s Brewery, Leopoldskron Palace – an 18th century Rococo palace with Salzburg Festival and “The Sound of Music” film connections. Hellbrunn Palace and Frohnburg Palace – “The Sound of Music” filmed Gazebo and von Trapp family house.
DOWNTOWN on your own: We will leave you to explore downtown from the beginning of the pedestrian area. From there you can walk through the very heart of the old city, linking between the squares and old streets, the churches and palaces. Visit the Fortress “Festung” up on the hill, St.Peter’s Church is the oldest (AD696), the Fransiscan for its variety of architecture and the cathedral known as Dom. Nonnberg is the 8th century convent on the hill with its “The Sound of Music” connections, and Nonntal the part of town beneath it.

Please be prepared there 30 min. prior to tour start (morning tour at 08:30 and for afternoon tour 13:30) for pick-up. You either can be the 1^st ones to be picked up or within a certain time-frame depending on the pick-up round and traffic.
Additional hours on request, when possible each extra hour cost Euro 90/-.
Some of tours need to cross over the country border, in case of border control we recommend you to carry passport.
Please inform us in case you want to take baby with you, we will try to arrange a suitable baby seat.
