Stubai Glacier

The Stubai glacier is accessible a gondola system to enjoy the breathtaking views on over 109 peaks over 3000 meters on a fine day even as far away as Italian Dolomites. The “Top of Tyrol” (3210 meters) is a destination for all seasons, the highlights are the Top of Tyrol Panorama Viewing Platform, the Ice Cave and just stand there taking a Breath of Healthy Mountain Air.

This could be a perfect day trip for entire family! optional visits: A shorter walk takes you to the Ice Cave, a man-made cavern inside the glacier with a 200m long tour gives a fascinating insight into the world of snow and ice, just beneath 3000m altitude. There is a large childrens playground at 2900 meters, which offers a Zipline, many Swings and easy hiking trails. There are restaurants on the top, so you can relax and enjoy a meal, snacks and drinks with the stunning Alpine scenery and watching summer skiers on slopes.

The second part of the tour we drive down to the Stubai valley passing through traditional villages, on request we can make several photostops. The highlight of the valley visiting the Rococo church in Neustift im Stubaital, the interior of the church is worth seeing.
