Itinerary

  • Oberammergau

Oberammergau town is famous in three respects: For the “Lüftlmalerei” wall paintings, the woodcarvings and the Oberammergau Passion Play. The “Lüftlmalerei” is a uniqe style in Upper Bavaria to decorate buildings with traditional Bavarian, fairytale or religious scenes.
Woodcarving in Oberammergau has also a long tradition, ranging from religious subjects to toys, but just to drive through or take a short walk we can really appreciate the beauty.

  • The Capital of Bavaria “Munich”

After spending some time at Oberammergau, we will make our way to Munich city.
Munich, the capital city of the Free State of Bavaria, is one of the major city in Germany. Munich offers many interesting aspects whether it is Oktoberfest or not, it is always the season for beer and pork knuckle. In Munich we tailor the day to suite your interests.

  • The old town area around Marienplatz is a must for taking a walk, a drink or a meal. there are many famous beer halls such as the Hofbrauhaus, Franziskaner, Augustiner and many more good ones. The beer is good and the atmosphere really gives you an impression of the Bavarian culture, but it is most renowned for the Oktoberfest. Other points of interest may include the Residence Museum, the Nymphenburg Palace, the Technical Museum, the Bavarian Film Studios, the Allianz Soccer Stadium and BMW World. There is also the Olympic park and English gardens. For those who interested in visiting the Nymphenburg Palace, the palace tour is possible, but the highlight is the gardens.

  • For those with an interest in BMW, there is the Exhibition, the Museum and the Factory Tour. The factory tour needs to be booked far in advance.

  • For those with an interest in Soccer, the Allianz Arena, or FC Bayern visits are possible on non-match days. For Souvenirs there are two amazing shops, from the stadium and the Soccer Club, the stadium tour also needs to be booked in advance.

  • In the classic way we will then return to Innsbruck. On request it can be customized so the tour ends at your choice of location in Munich City or Munich Airport
