Meet and greet service by your chauffeur-guide at the airport arrivals hall. Depending on your arrival time and wishes, before entering the city of Vienna we could visit Parndorf Designer Outlet Shopping Centre, if time allows we could also visit Neusiedlersee, Austria’s largest lake. Heading into Imperial Vienna, direct to your hotel is an option, or with a little orientation tour of the Ringstrasse, pop by the Schonbrunn Palace or stroll by the St.Stephans Cathedral.
Some time can be use to enjoy Vienna, with a visit to important places like the Natural History Museum or the Spanish Riding School, but our trip today is through the Wachau valley with perhaps lunch at a vinyard. Wachau is famous for apricots and grapes.At the end of Wachau is the Melk Abbey. On the way to Salzburg we could make a visit to Linz with its main sights.
Salzburg City Tour with the Lake District including “The Sound of Music” film locations. This tour can be adjusted to include just what you need to maximise benefits in the hometown of Mozart as well as Edelweiss Tours. Very central in Salzburg, at the historic Paracelsus Health Spa there are Mud, Peat and other treatments available, in addition to swim, sauna and solarium.
Depending on the interests of the group, on the way to Gastein we have a choice of visiting the Salt Mines, the Ice Caves or a Gourmet lunch at Restaurant Obauer in Werfen.
In the afternoon a wellness treatment at Bad Gastein, a place full of possibilities for pampering yourself, with thermal waters, sauna and massage treatments.
Late afternoon we reach the medieval town of Zell am See, with good lakeside hotels.
The perfect day begins with a trip up to 3000 meters. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Kaprun gives a snowy paradise for chill out and have fun on snow, with incredible views of across majestic Alpine peaks from near to far. Next, a little healthy nature treat at the Krimml Waterfalls. The waterfalls have some healing properties, especially for asthmatic and allergic bronchial therapies. At the end of the day, our last stop is at Swarovski Crystal Worlds, gives you the chance to delve into the crystal treasures at the newly reopened exhibition centre. We are staying the night at Innsbruck, a seat of the Holy Roman Empire.
A wonderful scenic drive through the Alpine landscapes first Austria, then a stretch of Italy, then back in Austria. Incredible Alpine scenery and cosy traditional villages for lunch break and a chance to relax. Passing Lienz, Spittal and Villach to reach Pörtschach am Wörthersee, a resort village on the north bank of the Wörthersee.
Pörtschach am Wörthersee is a renowned health resort. After a relaxing start at Lake Wörthersee we head to the second city of Austria, Graz, where the actor Arnold Schwarzenegger comes from. Options in Graz include a little sightseeing, shopping or a visit to the nearby Spa Town of St. Radegund. A walk on the Schlossberg can be most rewarding with some good views over the city.
Depending upon departure time from Vienna airport, just 2 hours way, we can enjoy Graz city or Vienna city for some sightseeing before the send off from Vienna Airport.
